Terms of Quotation

Holding the quote
Our quote will be valid the day we provide it. Car pricing can change along with availability on certain models and promotions and availability will usually be on a first-come-first-served basis with our suppliers. Prices on the site do not constitute an offer by DealDrivers.co.uk, or the retailer we link you with, for the purchase of the vehicle until the retailer has confirmed to you he has accepted your order and any required deposit has been paid.We are unable to guarantee the cost of road fund licence or first registration fee or value added tax, should legislation change this following your order being placed.

Our prices are from specific mainland UK dealers, often not matched by dealers elsewhere i.e. the islands of Britain, some Scotland postcodes, and Northern Ireland. We can arrange a mutually agreeable mainland handover venue between yourself and the supplying dealer in these cases or arrange an agreeable transportation charge. All of our vehicle pricing includes mainland GB registration plates only.

Financing the Vehicle
We can provide finance quotes using our own partnered funding company, or the dealer we link you with will be happy to assist at competitive lending rates, offering you any special manufacturer finance incentives available on the model you are purchasing at the time as long as elements of the discount offered do not preclude any manufacturer’s advertised APR’s etc. Any such, arrangement is between yourself and your chosen financer, whether that is the dealer or another loan provider. If you choose to use a dealer’s finance they will usually require you to attend their dealership site to sign your finance paperwork as it cannot be done by post.

We can provide you with a finance quote at DealDrivers. Finance is provided subject to status. To apply you must be 18 and a resident. A guarantor may be required. DealDrivers holds a consumer credit licence to enable us to offer you finance rates, which you will then conduct direct with our finance partners.

Your Contract to Purchase...
..is safely with the main dealer retailer (or with our finance partner if taking a vehicle via themselves), not with DealDrivers.co.uk. No money changes hands with DealDrivers.co.uk, you will deal direct with a franchised dealer, or with our finance partner depending on your purchase choice. This is the safest method of purchase using a broker, you only hand your money to a main dealer, not a third party or agent of any description.
 

Paying a deposit
If you ask us to place your order request with one of our own partnered dealers, and you are funding the vehicle privately or are using the supplying dealer’s own finance scheme, our dealer will contact you very quickly to confirm everything, and, in line with standard UK dealer processes, the dealer will require an ordering deposit from you. This will normally be £500 but if the vehicle’s total price exceeds £25,000 and (or) it carries some high value factory options, they may request a higher sum.

If you are taking a finance deal using our own finance partner, one of two processes will begin:

i) If you are taking a car from one of the dealers partnered by DealDrivers but are using DealDriver’s finance partner to fund it, you will be contacted both by the supplying dealer to confirm your order and take a £500 ordering deposit, and also by DealDrivers’ finance partner to confirm your finance arrangements. The remainder of the deposit amount built into your finance quote will be requested by the dealer prior to handover.

ii) if you are just using us to obtain finance and either our finance partner is supplying the vehicle themselves, or you have found a vehicle elsewhere but wish to use us to arrange the finance, then the only contact you will have is from our finance partner to arrange the transaction.

Price Protection
Our excellent retailer relationships mean we can usually hold our prices, but sometimes events are outside our retailers, and our own, control. If you place an order, and a subsequent manufacturer margin change, or specification / price change, affecting registrations in a given period occurs which changes the price of your vehicle prior delivery, and is beyond the retailer’s control, we will endeavour to work with the retailer to assist you. This happens rarely and is entirely in the manufacturer’s hands, but usually involves minor changes. The retailer will let you know and discuss it with you if any change affects your order.

Order Progress
The dealer we link you with for the purchase will keep you in touch with order progress. If it is a factory order there may be a few weeks while it awaits build or shipment where there is little to report, so do not be concerned.

Dealer Accessories
If you require dealer items such as towbars, mats, mudflaps, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, dog guards, warning triangles, baby seats, roof racks etc, these can be added to your quote, so do ask us. The retailer can advise you expertly and will quote you at keen prices on our behalf, separately, for these items.

Delivery
We quote including road-driven delivery to keep costs down for you. This means the vehicle will arrive at your delivery address by road using a trained and experienced driver from the supplying dealership, and will include the delivery mileage between the retailer’s distribution compound and your delivery address. The delivery price we quote is the delivery charge your dealer has to pay the vehicle manufacturer to bring the vehicle into stock, and put it though the PDI process. There is no reduction if you ask to collect your vehicle in person (except sometimes in Nissan pricing arrangements, ask us for advice)

If you require a trailered delivery at extra cost, please request this direct with the dealer. For locations including Scotland, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight etc our dealer will quote you individually. You need to specify to the retailer when they contact you following our introduction if you wish to add a trailered delivery charge. If you require a trailered delivery, your vehicle may carry a few miles on the odometer at delivery, to allow for pre-delivery testing prior delivery and short distances within the retailer’s distribution process

Most commercial vehicles cannot be trailered.

Local registrations are not possible. The vehicle must be registered in accordance with legislation in the retailer's own region.

You will be expected to accept delivery of the vehicle within 2 weeks of it arriving into the dealer’s stock unless the dealer agrees any other timescale with you in advance. Our prices are low as we help dealers move built stock quickly.

Fuel
The vehicle will be delivered with up to one quarter of a tank. By doing this we keep costs down and allow the customer to select their own fuel provider.

Cancellation
If you have to cancel your vehicle prior delivery, you must inform the dealer (and financer if applicable) we have linked you with for the purchase, and ourselves, as a courtesy, immediately. You will be subject to that dealer’s cancellation policy (or that of the financer if they are supplying the car). Costs will be higher if the vehicle is built and/or has been bought into stock for you.

Our Service
By asking us to confirm a vehicle requirement to a retailer on your behalf you are deemed to have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions. We aim to provide industry-leading service levels in locating vehicle stock and pricing for our customers. Our role is to pass your purchase requirement to our partnered approved main brand suppliers and therefore we accept no responsibility for any loss incurred by you, as our customer, arising out of the contract between yourself and the retailer, unless that loss can be shown to be due to our own negligence or omission at DealDrivers.co.uk.

Extreme care is taken by us to ensure all leadtimes and detail on our site is accurate, but we are reliant on third parties (vehicle suppliers and pricing suppliers) for all the vehicle information on our website. As such we do not assume responsibility for, or accept liability for, any technical inaccuracies or omissions or errors. If a third party supplier has submitted erroneous data to us we will endeavour to resolve that with our customer as soon as the problem is bought to our attention. Data Protection
We will only collect information from you which is necessary to process your enquiry or order requirement. Your financial details will not be collected by DealDrivers.co.uk.

Your information will only be processed between ourselves and the retailer involved in supplying your required vehicle. We never sell data, under any circumstances and are one of few brokers to be able to claim this.

We will hold your personal and contact details securely with access only by staff involved in processing your enquiry or vehicle requirement and we comply at all times with the Data Protection Act 1998 and any other applicable legislation currently in force.

We never pass customer details to any other party for marketing purposes.

We may use your contact details to inform you of any relevant offers available on vehicles or vehicle-related products, in case they are of interest to you or a colleague. We adopt a responsible approach to e-commerce and marketing.
