 'Motor Trader" Ian Saunders, ex-Arval Network Executive, has joined leading independent price finder and stock sourcer of UK cars and vans, DealDrivers Ltd, as vehicle advisor.

He brings a wealth of experience to DealDrivers and FleetDrivers (a dedicated service designed to reduce the cost of vehicle purchases for small fleet operators), and will prove to be an invaluable resource for the customer support team. The appointment of Ian Saunders will also further enhance DealDrivers’ service to its retail and corporate customers, by providing first hand knowledge and advice on technical and SMR issues, vehicle choice economies and whole life cost guidance.

Saunders has over 22 years’ experience in the car industry. He commenced his career as a motor technician within the Ford Network and served five years in workshops before joining Arval. Here he was responsible for managing business relationships and negotiations for some 7,000 repairers, representing an annual spend of around 60 to 70 million pounds.
