Specification changes below are for the 2012 model year Fiesta effective for factory ordering from 1/7/11
DAB radio became standard on Titanium for 2012MY cars (optional on rest) - however - a batch of all 2012 Fiesta spec’ levels built in July and August 2012 got DAB as standard and free. Any non-Titaniums built after August did not get DAB added. We can tell you the build date of any car on our stocklist
USB connector was standard on all Fiesta built from 1/9/11
Other important changes:
* Style is added to the range between Studio and Edge. Body coloured mirror caps/door handles, no optional aircon’.
* Edge has an interior upgrade and new 15” wheel caps, silvered interior door handles and other items inc’ a silver ICE bezel. Unique Edge seat trim with a quit insert fabric and silver piping.
* Zetec gets new interior trim, inc silvered door handles, 15” alloys in the style of the 17” alloys, new woven high-quality headlining
* Titanium get interior improvements (same as Zetec inc’ the new headlining) and SONY branded ICE with DAB radio will be standard on Titanium (there may be a date-of-build restriction for this item...get us to check for you). Titanium also gets a chrome strip on the front upper grille on the exterior
* The “Metal” replaces the S1600. Limited production of 1000 units, new body kit, black 17” alloys, 1.6 tiVCT 134ps engine, black leather seats with silver contrast stitching, leather handbrake grip and gear knob.
* The Econetic is no longer a unique derivative, the 1.6 TDCI versions of existing derivatives become Edge Econetic, Zetec Econetic and Titanium Econetic instead - with 95g.km emissions. These will 14” wheels (steel with caps for Edge, alloys on Zetec/Tit’m), lowered suspension, rear wheel air deflectors.
Colour changes:
Morello is discontinued. Mars red is added. Fashionista is a totally new colour for Style, Edge, Zetec and Tit’m (details tba)
* Zetec and Zetec S orders can have free B/tooth with USB on request
